[VG Cats Animated 2]

Decent

Reasons I liked this:
- I enjoy VGCats
- The art and animation were alright

Reasons I didn't
- Voice overs were bland
- You're just animating someone elses work

I'd have given this a higher score if it were your own work, but I can't possibly give it any more than a 5 for being a redundant ripoff. Make something original next time.

[Super Mario Claus]

Not bad

Graphics were top notch, but the concept was mediocre. Also, there was no point in calling him Mario Claus.

[Koopa Assault]

Pretty Good

I'd have given it full marks if it was a full movie instead of a short. Whether it was intentional or not, I noticed a few things that seemed copied from Alvin. Like when Blue spun and pointed his guns, and the 1-up combo.

Good job overall

[Sonic vs Mario part 1]

Decent

The Good - The animation wasn't too bad. I've certainly seen a lot worse. A few of the techniques were cool and unique. The special effects used looked really nice.

The Bad - My immediate impression was Mario Bros Z knockoff. Especially when the background was similar, both sound and SFX were identical, and even the combat music was the same. Thankfully there were a few different moves thrown in there, but I still couldn't shake the MBZ feeling.

Also, the music de-syncs from the video. That's never something you want to keep in your work.

Overall a good job. I'd like to see how the fight continues. Maybe with a reason as to WHY they're fighting.

[The Best Game Evar]

Not bad

The art was lacking and the animation was basic, but it was quirky and entertaining. I think people can overlook the downsides of this video because they blend well with the "Saturday morning cartoon" vibe you have going on.

Overall, good job.

[Wario & Waluigi ep1]

Here and there

The story wasn't bad. It's starting to look like one of the old mario bros cartoon series or something. The humor was also decent. Considering most animators make jokes that are funny to them and not everyone else, this made me smile once or twice.

Now for the heavy hitter, The animation was poor. This looks like it was made with windows movie maker (which is a possiblility, considering you said you converted TO a flash video). Having characters jump around the screen instead of actually walking or running breaks the flow of the video, as showing lack of skill and makes you look lazy ("I'm not animating a training sequence"?).

It might have been from the conversion, but the text was choppy and a little hard to read at times, and I'm not talking about the already slightly difficult to read font style you chose.

Take a little time off to practice a bit of real animation, make the subtitles a little more legible, and maybe upgrade the graphics you use. (Don't draw a bunch of crappy craters, find a sprite of one from Metal Slug or something ;p). This could shape up to be a really nice series.

[Waiting for the Bus 2]

Sad

The first one was epic. It told an awesome story that stretched into a nice 5 minute movie, all for that one joke at the end. This seemed to set itself up as a similar experience, but was a big let down by leaving us with a weak joke. It was worth a quick chuckle, but doesn't deserve to be called "part 2".

Hopefully if you do indeed create a third, it will have a real storyline like the first.

I wasn't expecting much because of the art quality, but the video itself was hilarious and made of win. Good job

[Persona 4 - I Can't Wait!]

Here and there

While I found the art style interesting, the video itself seemed to lack substance. Pretty much just "I want to play Persona" - The End. If it had a little more purpose or even an actual story of some sort, this would shape up to something interesting.

Not a bad job overall.
